Manassas, VA – October 18, 2025 – The Prince William Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) proudly participated in the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – VA Tri-Counties on October 18, 2025, in Manassas, Virginia. As a long-time supporter of this meaningful cause, Prince William SHRM continued its commitment to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s initiatives. This year’s event in Manassas brought together community members, advocates, and supporters under clear autumn skies, all united in the fight to end this devastating disease.

“Our team remains passionate about supporting the Alzheimer’s Association and the critical work they do,” said Keri Purtell, President of Prince William SHRM. “We recognize the tremendous impact Alzheimer’s has on families and communities, and we’re proud to contribute to the mission of creating a world without Alzheimer’s.”
Participants enjoyed a day of camaraderie, inspiration, and shared purpose. The event featured a scenic walk, educational opportunities, and community connections that strengthened support for those affected by Alzheimer’s.
The Prince William SHRM team proudly achieved its fundraising goal of $2,500, supporting the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission to advance research and provide vital programs and services.
