As an important milestone in its chapter’s evolution, DC SHRM has officially co-branded with SHRM and will now be known as SHRM Washington DC effective May 1, 2026.
This change strengthens the chapter’s connection to SHRM’s national brand, expands visibility across the HR profession, and underscores their commitment to advancing and supporting the Washington, DC HR community with excellence, innovation, and lasting impact. While the chapter’s name is evolving, their mission of Serving, Elevating, Enhancing, and Empowering the HR Professional remains the same.
As they begin this next chapter as SHRM Washington DC, they are also pleased to announce that registration is still open for their Mentoring Program.
The mentoring program is a structured, cohort-based six-month experience designed to help HR professionals deepen self-awareness, strengthen their capabilities, and expand their professional impact through a strengths-based approach grounded in CliftonStrengths. Participants will benefit from mentorship, structured engagement, and reflective practice in a collaborative learning environment focused on growth and development.
