Our third session will be Clay Rojas, Founder and Executive Director of Prison Families Aftercare on returning the formerly incarcerated to work. Clay travels throughout the United States showing companies / Human Resource departments, that America’s prisoners are the next generation of champions. There is a workforce full of bright minds and open hearts ready to be your next employee of the year. With the right process in place, American companies can harness the power and potential of the approximately 600,000 men and women being released from prisons annually.

Since its inception in 2013, the Virginia Legal Forum (VALF) has aimed to provide the latest legal information and practical advice for local business leaders, business owners, Human Resources professionals, and their business colleagues. The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) recognized the Virginia Legal Forum in 2014 with the Pinnacle Award, an award designed to honor the highest achievements in affiliate development and contributions that serve HR professional, advance the HR profession, and enhance the SHRM community.
