Employee willingness to raise concerns is one of the most powerful – and often most fragile – elements of organizational cultures. HR Professionals often find themselves trying to facilitate the creation of empowering and innovative cultures while simultaneously dealing with the drive for results, shrinking budgets and ever-growing customer demands. Yet finding ways to encourage employees to both “Speak Up & Listen Up” can yield tremendous short-term and long-term benefits.

In this highly interactive session, you will participate in a discussion of both high-level strategies as well as practical tips on how both individuals and teams can facilitate the creation of “safe to speak” cultures which can simultaneously drive both engagement and innovation.


After attending this session, participants should be able to:

  • Identify major trends organizations need to be aware of in order to effectively operate in today’s challenging environment.
  • Find ways to effectively work through the ethical dilemmas created by the intersection of technology, globalization and HR practices.
  • Implement simple tools and techniques to drive improved individual and organizational effectiveness.
  • Understand the critical link between ethics and human resources.
