Please join DC SHRM’s Young Professionals committee on Wednesday, May 12 from 6pm-7pm for a panel conversation on modern networking with representatives from the American Enterprise Institute, a non-profit, non-partisan public policy think tank in DC. Tyler Castle (Director, Initiative on Faith & Public Life, Academic Programs), Elyse Newbert (Director of External Affairs) and Kara McMahon (Manager, External Affairs) will share tips and tricks to successfully build and maintain your professional network.
Panelists will answer questions such as:
- How do I build a valuable network?
- How has networking changed over the years and how should I adapt?
- How can I network on Zoom?
- What types of networking do I have to look forward to in the future, and how can I learn about opportunities to make connections?
While this event is free for members, advanced registration is required so that we can be prepared.
