The face of business communication has changed dramatically over the past year. Face-to-face interactions have been severely restricted and often only take place through online platforms.
Gregory Justice, Associate Professor for the Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts, has been offering communications workshops for over 30 years to Fortune 500 companies, business and service organizations, government agencies, universities and civic groups. He will bring The Art of Business Communication to you – virtually – as a two-hour workshop built to equip you with ways to communicate more effectively when using online conferencing tools.
You will learn:
• How to set up the optimal environment for virtual presence
• The best device placement (phone, computer)
• Inexpensive and nontechnical lighting and sound considerations
• Body placement and nonverbal physical techniques, including gesturing
• Advice on where to look when talking and listening
• How to use your voice more effectively
The vast majority of demonstrations available on using video conferencing are about the technology. This workshop is about you.
